David grew up in Maine, where he started riding when he was old enough to walk. While working for Denny and May Emerson, he trained and competed many horses through the upper levels. David went on to train with Walter Christianson in Germany when he was selected by the United States Equestrian Team to train with Jack LeGoff. Named to the USET Training list in 2000 and 2001, David went onto be the highest placed American at Blenhiem in 2000; wins at Bromont; and many top placings at American most advanced courses — Fair Hill, Fox Hall and the USET championships. David has also served on a number of committees including the USEA’s Board of Governors, servings as Vice President of Competitions and Adult Rider Committee, Nominating.

Lauren grew up wishing and dreaming horses but in reality first pony was actually a goat named “Cinnamon”, given to her by her brother for Christmas. It wasn’t long before she was coming up the ranks in Pony Club, becoming an A graduate.

Lauren’s achievements started early and continue onto today where she was a top ten finisher at the 2007 Rolex ****. She has won the Radnor International Three Day; competed in the European Open Championships, Rome, Italy; the National English Championships, Gatcombe Park; the Scottish Open, Thirlestane Castle and at Burghley. Lauren was named to the US Equestrian Team and competed at the Pan American Games winning gold for the team!
